Admission Arrangements for 2025 – 2026

The Grange Primary School and Nursery is a community day school for boys and girls aged 3 to 11 years, incorporating a Nursery and a one‑form entry primary school. The school also includes specialist provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Mainstream School Admissions
Applications for Reception class places must be made via the Sefton Council online admissions process.

Nursery Admissions
The Nursery provides full‑time equivalent places for boys and girls aged at least three years at the beginning of the term in which they are admitted. Parents and carers are encouraged to contact the school via T: 0151 924 7917 or admin.grange@lydiatelearning.org to tour the Nursery and discuss admissions.

SEN Unit Admissions
Admission to the six designated SEN Unit classes is through the Sefton Special Needs Department and is limited to pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans specifying this provision. Click here for more information.
